April 17  'Chemical Safety in the Garden'  presentation by Jim Beardsley via Zoom  

·          Week of April 15: Distribution of Roses ordered in 2023 and Fertilizer ordered in March 2024 - distribution and pick up, 110 42nd Ave W, Duluth 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

April 20   Raise the Roses at Leif Erikson Rose Garden - 9:00 am to noon, and April 22, 9:00 to 3:00

May 15 'Minneapolis Bachman's' presentation by Brad Meyer via Zoom. 

May 25   DGFS Plant Sale 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.  Donate plants to sell and/or help with sales if available

June 11  Rose Order Meeting, Valentini's in Hermantown and Zoom, 6:00-8:30 pm.

June    Volunteer Opportunity: Leif Erikson Rose Garden-Prune roses.  Beginning the week of June 24

July 13      Rose Fest at Leif Erikson Rose Garden, 1300 London Road, Duluth, 11-2 PM   Garden tours, classes on selecting, growing and arranging roses, and treasure hunt for kids  

July         Volunteer Opportunity: Leif Erikson Rose Garden- Prune roses. 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tues & Thurs

·          Volunteer Activity at Leif Erikson Rose Garden: Join the City Park Maintenance crew at Leif Erikson Rose Garden to tip (winter protect) the roses. Stay an hour or a day. Dates/times TBA . Come to watch/learn/help!
